Note

This piece is a sort of character study of three objects that have sat in my childhood bedroom in the same place for at least a decade and a half. The collection of sands is encased in a glass display that lets me watch the colors and textures change as I tilt the display around. The gears sitting inside their box are all interlocked but move at a variety of different speeds when I turn just one. The lego model airplane has been reconfigured throughout its life, as pieces fall off, get found, replaced, and misplaced, changing the model ever so slightly each time.
